I got to admit, the education system in Malaysia really gives students a chance to move around the country. You can choose tp study in different places at different stages of your education.

Secondary School --> Pre-University(College) --> University

Born and raised a Penangite, I moved to Subang Jaya when I decided to study at Taylor's College for my A-Level.

It was worthwhile.

Broga Hill Expedition Video

Broga Hill seems to be a place I would always see on my timeline. It could have simply won the "Best team bonding location for clubs" award. Almost all of the clubs in our school went to Broga Hill. A Broga Hill expedition was also included in our residential activities.

So, in the process of digging through my old stuff (as I mentioned in my few previous blogs), I found this essay I wrote back in Form 5. It was a practice essay written for Penang's Chinese SPM Trial Paper. Since it was a practice, I took an unconventional way of writing it in 古文. I am not that good at 古文, but I couldn't bear the thought of just discarding it away (since it was my first 古文essay), so here you go.

Color Guard Basics

Last week when I was going through my pile-of-mess in my room, I found my old notebook. Feeling nostalgic, I flipped through those pages and found my previous color guard basic routine. Sad to say, our school band does not have a full-time trainer for our section and we kinda have to navigate through our practices on our own. I went back to visit the kids sometimes and somehow noticed that some of the basics went missing as time passes. So, I am posting what we had last time so that you can refer to it if you need/want.

Recently I started reorganizing my room (which was a mess ever since I could remember) and noticed this prose/poem I wrote four years ago during graduation period. Won't be anything fancy since I am not a literature student and my English was bad back then. But, in the spirit of not wasting it away, I will be posting it here.

Breakfast in SS15

In a previous post, I did mention that I chose to come to Taylor's College Subang Jaya (TCSJ) because of its location. TCSJ is located at SS15, a place where you can get everything you need at an affordable price within walking distance. I will be talking about how I have my breakfast during my stay in SS15 (note: the experience might be different for someone else who has different spending power). I usually have my breakfast in my room, but of course, we need variety in life. So, I will be sharing with you some of my common breakfast choices around SS15.

I am very excited because it is a scholarship & admission application means if I get the scholarship, I don't have to pay that much.
